Dr. Thakkar’s journey in dentistry began with a solid foundation in Computer Science, earning his bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Chicago, Illinois. After moving to Boston, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he further honed his passion for healthcare. In his senior year, Dr. Thakkar had the privilege of serving veterans at the VA Hospital in Togus, Maine—a rewarding experience that deepened his commitment to patient care.
Upon graduating from dental school in 2009, Dr. Thakkar dedicated two years to providing dental care to undeserved communities in South Chicago. In 2011, he made the move to Texas, captivated by the warm weather and welcoming spirit of the people here, where he has continued his practice ever since.
With over fifteen years of experience, Dr. Thakkar is deeply committed to delivering the highest standard of care. He believes in staying ahead of the curve, often exceeding the required continuing education hours to ensure he’s always at the forefront of modern dental practices. He views every patient as part of his extended family, with a focus on improving not only smiles but overall quality of life.
A proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Dr. Thakkar continues to refine his skills and passion for dentistry. When he’s not transforming smiles, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Kelly, and their kids Yash and Siya.
